2011-2012 Tuition: $27,800
Tuition for both the Middle School and Upper School programs is the same, and includes local field trips associated with courses and all-school activities. Need-based financial aid is available for longer class related trips for which there might be additional costs.
Payment Plans
Tuition may be paid as one single payment or divided into two installments. Families applying for financial aid pay tuition on a monthly basis over a 10-month period.
Financial Aid
Parkmont School is committed to providing a financially accessible educational experience to students of diverse economic backgrounds. All financial aid is need-based, and varies in amount depending on the family’s financial resources and the school’s financial aid budget. We recommend applying for financial aid at the same time you submit your application for admission.
Families can learn more about other scholarship providers, as well as payment and loan programs by contacting the Black Student Fund, Latino Student Fund, Capital Partners, and the Washington Scholarship Fund. Additional information on Financial Aid may be found at National Association of Independent Schools.
Financial Aid Process
1. Request a Financial Aid Application at the time of the parent interview or from the Admissions Office.
2. Submit the completed Financial Aid Application and a copy of your most recent IRS 1040 tax form and any supporting documentation. All information related to the parents' financial circumstances is treated confidentially.
3. New students will receive an award letter after allocations are made for current students. Returning families are required to reapply for financial aid annually.
